Totally get it. I used to travel alone for work but the thought of traveling alone now makes me cringe. I guess as we get older we're less comfortable with risk. My friend broke her hip in Amsterdam, her husband was with her and medical care was phenomenal, but still, as you say, anything can happen. I waffle between you only live once and use common sense. I have no answers! ☺️
