This resonates so much with me. Everyone just expects me to be strong, to handle it all, to not break. The other day my husband's doctor (he's been battling Long Covid for 41 months) asked me how I was doing. I cried because I realized rarely does anyone think about the toll his illness has taken on me. I don't want to be weak and I'm glad that I'm resilient but I wish I could let down my armor once in a while.
