Similar true story in the states...Jaycee Dugard. Also, I think of the movie, Unbroken, produced by Angelina Jolie. She completely missed the most important part of the story as told in the book: Zamperini's conversion that gave him the grace and strength to forgive his captors. I guess she just didn't know what to do with that Christian message.
