I was raised by parents from the depression. My mom had 2 favorite phrases: 1. we can't afford it. and 2. It must be nice. She used the It Must Be Nice phrase when she was jealous of others. I have committed to not saying I can't afford something. I now say I choose not to purchase that right now instead. I not longer desire to live with a scarcity mindset. I will check out Mina's videos!
