I just got laid off from Ed tech which boomed during the pandemic. With other tech layoffs, I'm competing with thousands for positions. The last 2 weeks I've noticed a down trend in salaries, offering 40-60 k for customer success manager, which should be double that pay. But they know they'll get someone to take it and tons of teachers in the US are dying to leave the classroom and will work for cheap. Yet the cost of living keeps going up.
