Hi Lori, thanks for engaging with me on this. For me, it feels like this. I'm smart, capable, hard working, determined, etc but I have never earned the money I believe I'm worth, whether from a salary or from my own efforts. Why is that? I now know it's because of how I viewed my self worth AND my fears around money. That all feels like shame to me. Add 2 layoffs in 7 years... it's a battle to not let that hit my self worth. I believe I'm breaking through this but it's taken a lot of prayer and willingness to look at my mindset. Does any of that resonate with you? How do you describe money shame?
