4/8 of my team were let go and 3/4 of us were 50+. A few months later the remaining 50+ team member was fired leaving only the younger crowd. 6 months later we were all replaced with younger versions, even though they stated the position was being eliminated. Same thing, if you take the severance pay you can’t complain and age discrimination is very hard to prove.
